Our journey began with a deeply personal challenge—finding a 1 level living solution for my aging in-laws.

When no builder could deliver a solution within our budget, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Drawing on years of accumulated experience in various disciplines, I decided to act as the General Contractor to design and build a cost-effective Garden Apartment on our property.

What started as a necessity quickly transformed into a rewarding experience, especially as I involved my teenage sons, giving them valuable, hands-on skills and instilling the importance of family. Along the way, I realized our solution wasn’t just unique to us—it addressed a growing need for families wanting to bring their loved ones closer while maintaining independence and dignity.
